PUMA and Big Sean have wasted no time since the announcement that the rapper would be their new Global Ambassador. The G.O.O.D. Music artist continues to grow as a rapper for his hometown of Detroit, but he’s taking cues from the birthplace of hip-hop, the Bronx, for this latest SUPERPUMA Pack inspired by fashion from the 1970s championed by the first DJ’s and B-Boys. Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the PUMA Suede, but PUMA also included unique apparel pieces like retro-inspired t-shirts and a Satin Bomber but with a modernized fit. They did manage to include OG fat laces in the lookbook for a nice nod to early customization back in the day.
The shoes are available online now via puma.com and retail for $70.
Also included in the pack are a T-shirt, tank top, satin bomber jacket, track jacket, T7 jacket, track pants, shorts and driver cap.
To promote the Super Puma Pack, the brand photographed Big Sean on a New York City subway, dressed in the line head to toe.
Puma announced that Big Sean was part of its brand-ambassador team in March and that, in his role as a creative collaborator and global ambassador, he would work with Puma on an exclusive collection for spring ’18. Big Sean is the latest addition to the Puma ambassador team, which also includes The Weeknd, Rihanna and Kylie Jenner.
